Indian Economy and Education

Attempts at Correlating Indian Education and Economy have always been difficult. The needs of the Industry are increasing in terms of the number of people needed. Is it the system of education that is affecting this? Is it the 'Future Shock' that this generation of youngsters are facing that is exposing them to a mass Attention Deficit situation? Is the cultural shift in India in a critical phase of transition where parents still support their children who have grown up enough to support themselves, thereby stalling the transition to self-driven, self-supporting individuals? The questions we could ask are innumerable.
