Projects: FAQ

Read this FAQ completely to resolve any doubts you have on starting work on your Final year Projects. If you have any issues, please send an e-mail to sunil.beta@parisuthamtech.co.in or please contact me in person. -- Mr. Sunil Beta Baskar (Director - Placement and Incubation)

Please do not get confused by asking the same questions to your peers or others who are not actively part of the Tech Cell. This is to avoid confusion.

Final Year Projects: Frequently Asked Questions

1. I have sent e-mail of my Project team. Is my first Milestone complete?

ans: No. Many have been sending me only the e-mail. You must fill up the form which is located here and await my reply to complete the first milestone.

2. Can I do my Project outside the College under the guidance of a Company?
ans: No. You are requested to follow the method provided within our Campus. Interaction with Companies during the Project is not forbidden, but execution must be done inside our Institution.

Projects: Dedicated Tech Lab

At PITS we provide a dedicated Technology Laboratory for students who are pursuing their projects. This Laboratory is also equipped with a Conference Room for guidance meetings and the Office of the Director of Placement/Incubation and the Director of Technical Activities. Here, students can come and avail the facility at any time in pursuit of completing their projects.

All Technical Clubs and Activities are Coordinated from the Tech Cell Office.

Robotics for you

At PITS the "Tech Cell", through "Tech Brigade" brings you opportunities to work on projects all through the calendar year. We also help you work on Robotics and achieve what you previously had never thought was possible.

Min7 designed by Ng Bent Kiat
Now, we have also started advisories and instructions to final year students who are about to participate in projects on 'processes', Project Planning, Project Tracking and Execution akin to a professional firm.

"Ng and Min7 won this year due to the speed of the robot, which has to be seen to be believed. It managed to navigate the maze in just 3.921 seconds, which is also a record. Check out the video below to see just how fast Min7 is."

For all the geeks out there, this is probably one sweet news to digest and tough challenge in creating a faster Micromouse for solving mazes faster than ever before.
