PITS Aeronautical Modeling Club - Activity

As a start to the PITS Aeronautical Modeling club, we will be having a 'Kite Flying Competition' on Monday, 5 Dec 2012. All first year and second year Aeronautical students will be participating compulsorily along with other enthusiasts.

Prototyping and Test flights will be conducted on Sunday, 4 Dec 2012 as part of the activity. This is the very first step that any Aeronautical engineer will take towards creating 'flying machines.' The spirit of Engineering is in creativity and in making things work. It is not merely in understanding the science behind things - which is why engineering transcends scientific method, prototyping and delves into actual 'execution.'


Execution of this activity will be helped by Mr. Kannan, our Aeronautical Technical Expert. Members of the faculty of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Mr.Anbarasan and Mr.Padmanabhan will both be helping students in this activity to be held immediately after class hours at 5:10pm on Monday, 5 Dec 2012.
