PITS Shines at Anna University Zonal Athletics

Sports has been one of the focus areas of PITS, in our process of creating the complete human being - sound in both body and mind, following the motto of our Institution 'Towards Excellence.'

We congratulate the Ladies and Gentlemen who are pursuing their Engineering Courses in PITS and have been spending hours of practice on the field working day after day, to improve their own 'Personal Best.'

These achievements have not been from a single day's effort, but from perseverance of the athletes to which we owe all these results.

It is most impressive that our students have been performing in sports from the 1st year through the 4th year. The facilities have given them the rare opportunity of continuing their interest in sports after their school days whilst pursuing their Engineering studies, something that several other Engineering Institutions leave to regret. We are most happy and congratulate all of them for having reaped the rewards of their tireless efforts in practicing and preparing for these track events.

We only hope that they will continue to do better in sports, as much as the Visionary behind our Institution has created all these facilities in memoriam to a great Sportsman, Shri AYS Parisutha Nadar. In the spirit of continuing sportsmanship, it is only fitting that we have Mr. Sebastian Rajesh, scion, our beloved ED as the Director of Sports to guide us day in and day out - taking the students to new heights in sports.
