Technology Session from SamCys Pvt Ltd.

Today, we had the pleasure of having visitors from SamCys who wanted to have an interactive session with the students. The interested students took part in the talk, which was part motivational and part technical, its whole incomparable.

Students interacted with professionals from SamCys for over 2:30hrs from 10:35am in the morning and also found a nice learning experience. About 118 students opted to participate in the event from the batch graduating in 2012, spanning ECE, CSE, IT and EEE.


SamCys Technologies is an Information Technology solutions company providing cost-effective & innovative software products, solutions and training.

SamCys specializes in working on the Linux kernel 2.6 and have developed USB HCI stacks. They design PCBs as part of Hardware Design, They work on Low-level Embedded Software, Embedded Applications, Embedded Applications and provide services along all these verticals.

The well structured presentation

1. Introduced SamCys to the students who had thus far been unaware
2. Convinced them as why they Should Listen to the Session
3. Gave them Self Motivation 
4. Delved into the surface of Embedded Systems, tasking the students with a problem or two
5. Summarized all that was discussed during the session.

We had a further interaction understanding the feedback and analyzing it from multiple perspectives. Thereafter our visitors left the campus, to which they said they will hopefully return..

It was most wonderful of Mr. T Muthukumaran, HR - Technical, of SamCys to have helped us and facilitated in coordinating the interaction.

He has gone one step further and informed us that their doors are open to all our students who would wish to visit them during the evenings of weekdays after 5:30pm to attend Technical Talks given for the favor of everyone - much like a Linux User Group.
